The Department of Nursing was renamed as Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing with effect from the academic year 1995-96. The College of Nursing utilizes the staff and facilities available at Rajah Muthiah Medical College and the Rajah Muthiah Medical College Hospital. The Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing is headed by the Principal Dr. Mrs. D. KaralineKarunagari, who is associated with the college since January 1987 and Dr. Mrs. M. Gandhimathi as Vice-Principal.
