Bachelor of medicine, Bachelor of surgery - MBBS (Medicinae Baccalaureus and Bachelor of Surgery) is a 5.5 year expert path for which the scholars are offered the ranges in medication and surgical procedure upon a success final touch of the path. Manjeri Government Medical College is the sixth government medical college in the State, inaugurated on 1 September 2013 by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Manjeri Govt. Medical College is one among the newly sanctioned four medical colleges in Kerala. It was allowed for Malappuram district in revised 2011 state budget by Finance Minister K.M. Mani in July 2011. The first medical college in the government sector in the State in 31 years is a fulfillment of a long-cherished dream of the largest populated district in the State.
